Bristol Myers Squibb Senior Product Manager, Population Health Marketing & Customer Engagement in Princeton, New Jersey
This position is responsible for developing Population Health marketing strategy and tactics for US VAP (Value, Access & Payment). This position requires extensive coordinating and influencing across the matrix team to shape ideas and tools that are aligned to the healthcare landscape shift from fee for service to value-based care. This individual will develop resources that are above brand, disease focused and potentially indication-based given BMS portfolio mix in Oncology, CV and Immunology. An ideal candidate understands Population health principles and the social determinants of health (i.e. Government and Commercial Payment Models, Quality, application of Real world evidence, Patient segmentation, Care Coordination, Patient Engagement/Activation, Multi-disciplinary Team based Care and Intervention Measurement) and its impact on the Quadruple AIM. Or the ideal candidate would have understanding of segmented channels such as Payers, IDNs/ACOs, CINs, IPA, GPOs, etc. and the evolving/transformative role of Population Health within those channels and could improve customer engagement and the account-based marketing approach with organized customers (including development of recommendations and tactics to enhance Account Executive, and broader VAP/BMS field, engagement (pre, during, post call)).
This role requires cross-matrix alignment with US VAP Quality team, State & Federal Payment Agency teams, Strategic Payer Marketing teams, Payer & Organized Customer Account Team and HEOR office/field team.
The position reports directly to the Director of Quality, Policy & Population Health Marketing.
Develop strategic Population Health marketing framework and engagement plan for national and regional Account Executives
Develop Population Health and Customer Engagement tools for Organized Customers and Payers. Champion content through PReP (L/M/R) process
Educate internal stakeholders on healthcare landscape shifts to value-based care and customers’ evolving needs
Champion and support innovative communication methods through organizations aligned to quality, population health, and organized customers
Continuously monitor population health trends and conduct market research (population health led or extended team) to inform population health strategy
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of Access Marketing or Payor/Health System customer field experience.
Payer Marketing and/or Organized Customer Access Marketing Experience preferred
Strong Account management expertise with a demonstrated understanding of value based care. Understanding needs of C, E and VP level executives with Payors and Organized Customers.
Critical thinker that exhibits intellectual curiosity about healthcare issues facing the biopharmaceutical industry
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively & efficiently drive performance within a matrix organization
Experience and knowledge of the principles of marketing, with a strong clinical acumen
Strong communication skills, the ability to network across a broad internal and external matrix organization, and the skills necessary to form strong, productive partnerships
Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to drive execution of key initiatives and meet all deadlines
Strong ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills
PharmD and/or a business degree with experience in payer landscape and/or marketing
Experience leading cross-functional teams to accomplish specified goals
Track record of highly ethical and compliant behavior
Appropriate Population Health experience with Payor or Health System
