The Oncology Clinical Development Program Lead has four key roles.

  • Manager:ServesasamanagertoClinicalLeadsand SeniorClinicalLeads.Asmanager,isresponsibleforthehiring,mentoring and developmentofreports.Thedevelopmentofaresilientattitude,positive embraceofchangeand unwavering commitmentto ourPeopleStrategyareexpected.

  • PrimaryClinicalmemberofFDT:ServesasthePrimaryClinicalrepresentativetotheFDTfortherelevantindication(s).In thisrole,isaccountablefortheclinicalcontribution to thedevelopmentofeach indicationstrategy,includingregistrationaland non-registrationalstudies,withthesupportoftheClinicalorSeniorClinicalLeads.Likewise,isaccountableforthedesign,execution,and analysesofeach studyledbytheClinicalorSeniorClinicalLeads and willleadtheProgram Working Teamsubteamand interfacewith therelevantMedicalaffairsteamsfortherelevanttumorindication(s).

  • RepresentOncologyClinicalDevelopment: Asacorememberofan FDTand asaseniormemberofOncologyClinicalDevelopment,isexpectedtobeabletorepresentOncologyClinicalDevelopmentin both internaland externalforums.Assuch,isexpectedtobefamiliarwith theoveralldevelopmentplansand statusofallprogramswithin therelevantFDT(notlimitedtothespecificassignedindication(s)).RepresentationofOncologyClinicalDevelopmentmayincludebutisnotlimitedtoparticipation in internalcross-functionalworkinggroups,businessdevelopmentduediligenceactivities,andbothinternaland externalspeaking engagements.MayalsoprovidemedicalandscientificexpertisetoBMScolleaguesin drug discovery,labeling,regulatory,outcomesresearch,and marketing/commercialdepartments.

  • Partnerpro-actively with theEarly ClinicalProgram Leadsto optimizethetimeand strategytoregistration trialfortherelevantindication(s),developingasakeysubjectmatterexpertfortheenterprise.

Desired Background and Experience

  • MDpreferablywithabackground in clinicaloncology;PhD,PharmDorotherhealth relatedscientificfield withadeepunderstandingoftheclinicaloncologyoftheareaofinterestorequivalenttherapy areaknowledge.Atleast9yearsofrelevantexperience.

  • Program Lead hasdemonstrated excellentskillsinClinicaldevelopmentstrategy including theclinicalcomponentsofregulatory submission(s).

  • Program Lead hasdemonstrated leadership in thedesign and executionofmultipleclinicaltrials(e.g.significantexperienceasaseniorclinicalleader),and exhibitsallofthefollowing attributes:

  • Abletosynthesizeinternaland externaldatatoproduceaclinicalstrategy.

  • Abletoensurethattheclinicalprogram willresultinaviableregistrationalstrategy.

  • Abletoassesspersonnelneeds,translateintoahiring strategy,and lead thehiring efforts.

  • Abletoworkwithotherstakeholderstoensurearobustenterpriselevelstrategyforasset(s)and indication(s)including early,lateand post-marketing development.

  • Program Lead hasdemonstrated sustained excellentperformanceasSeniorClinicalLeadorequivalent.

  • Verifiabletrackrecordofsuccessfulpeoplemanagementand development,orleadership inamatrixteam(e.g.mentoring juniorcolleagues).

This position will be based in the Princeton, NJ area.
