What we are looking for:
A strong marketer and leader with outstanding customer focus to help continue to grow a >$1B+ business: Sprycel for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), Opdivo for classical Hodgkin Lymphoma (cHL) and support of broader pipeline of assets within Leukemia and Lymphoma. The Product Manager of Professional Promotions will ensure the successful promotion to healthcare practitioners in the treatment of CML and cHL, and will partner with a range of key internal and external stakeholders. This individual will be part of a team who are leading many innovative programs particularly in the non-personal promotional channel, to ensure brand recognition and differentiation in the face of multiple branded and generic competitors.

Who you will work with:
The Product Manager reports to the Brand Lead - Leukemia and Lymphoma within the Hematology organization, within the US Oncology BU. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across a matrix organization inclusive of Sales & Sales Training, Access Strategy, Medical Strategy, Business Insights & Analytics, Legal and Promotion Integrity.
Evaluate and enhance current message platform
Deliver results in-line with product/business plan and company goals
Develop and deliver clear business and functional plans, making clear choices and trade off recommendations
Work with the matrix team in providing strategy and guidance to create and execute non-personal promotion tactics to differentiate and strengthen the brand
Work with Sales Learning, Operations and Sales Leadership to ensure excitement around Sprycel and Opdivo cHL and improve knowledge and competitive selling skills of sales force
Provide active marketing direction, materials and support to the field force to ensure excellence in execution
Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plan which addresses key challenges and capitalizes on prioritized business opportunities
Manage promotional spend and coordination of investments across functions to drive brand performance
Work with the cross-functional matrix team to identify business opportunities and issues and develop multi-channel action plans and contingencies accordingly
Build and maintain excellent stakeholder networks and relationships internally and externally to drive the business forward
Place customers at the center in addressing needs and finding business solutions
Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience and insights
Ensure business objectives and practices are fully compliant with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics
Qualifications and Experience we look for in a candidate:
BA degree or equivalent is required; MBA is preferred
4-6 years of relevant marketing brand management experience
Demonstrated experience in managing external resources, including Advertising agencies
Experience in conducting primary and secondary market research with demonstrated ability to derive key market insights
Experience in leading multi-functional teams to accomplish specific objectives and goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to travel up to 25%
