Bristol Myers Squibb Manager, Operations - VAP in Princeton, New Jersey

The Manager of Operations will support the POCS Organization / field RAE and NAE management team. This role reports to the Director, VAP Field Operations. This position will support 3 executives and 5 Directors within the POCS field organization. The position requires an understanding of VAP and the broad management matrix across Marketing, Learning and Operations functions. Required skills in interpreting and using business and marketing process and execution. Applicant must have the ability to impact and influence others through broad matrix team engagement with no direct reporting relationship.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead for development and dissemination all business and marketing communications across the portfolio to POCS field teams. Develops communications in support of on-going business operations and execution priorities.

Lead the development of the VAP POCS National Meetings and coordinate matrix meetings with BUs.

Engage with the senior leadership team on planning field engagement, development and strategic planning meetings.

Supports field force business model to drive higher effectiveness as well as superior customer experience

Drive focus to improve productivity, consistency, and quality across all RAE and NAE regions.

Support field reporting, account planning, and launch execution for applicable brand strategies

Identify and initiate operations improvement tactics addressing regional business opportunities.

Supports ongoing training for new capabilities deployment as well as feedback gathering to further evolve field force capabilities

Serve as a liaison with home office functional areas to troubleshoot national operations issues.

Provide Operational Updates to RAE and NAE Field Teams and triage and resolve operations issues.

Lead the congress / display/exhibit process and tracking for POCS.

Provide regional systems/tools/technology related training to customer-facing teams in collaborations with the Access Learning team.

Lead the integration of training into regional and national meeting development.

Develops, implements and maintains field related Operations (ie reporting, business planning, automation of business needs etc.)

Supports Director in analyzing field force execution and applicable resource utilization (ie call productivity, in service Programs, Directive &Tactics, tracking and budgeting of exhibits and displays)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with a minimum of 3+ years in pharmaceuticals and/or related healthcare experience.

Candidates should have demonstrated performance in the following skills: project management, data analytics, mobilizing matrix team members and embracing teamwork in cross functional environment.

Strong interpersonal, communication, project management and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to present complex information to multiple stakeholders.

Candidate must act with a sense of accountability and urgency, while collaborating closely with others.

Must have a strong understanding of US Commercial Operations including promotional processes.

Must possess strong written & oral communication and leadership skills.

Proven expertise and success in developing and implementing integrated customer solutions.

Promotes a winning attitude and places a high value on accountability, teamwork, and delivering results.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and the ability to align the efforts of multiple groups both inside and outside of the organization.

Track record of success in leading complex projects. Demonstrated strong project management skills. Capable of directing a project from inception to execution, at times involving many layers of the matrix organization to accomplish goals.
