Manager, Data Acquisition
Manager, Data Acquisition is a critical role to ensure US & HQ commercial secondary data acquisition process runs smooth and efficiently. This position reports to Director, Data Strategy & Acquisition under Commercial Analytics.
Roles & Responsibilities
Data Acquisition : Lead and coordinate data acquisition process for global secondary data, US payer related data and SPP data. Monitor for such SOWs.
Budget Management: Lead budget submission and projection for data in scope, capture base line and data spec changes, get new quote from vendors, submit in internal finance systems. Conduct monthly review ensuring funds committed and invoiced appropriately.
Contract Management: Manage data contracts (MSA/SOW) spec & status via new creation, amendment or termination; align SOWs with approved budget, facilitate communications with vendors on SOW data spec
Invoice Inquiry: Communicate PO# to vendors and answer escalated inquiries on invoices
Reporting : Generate various reports including monthly execution rate, data category, etc
Data Quality Communication : only for limited data, this position need to triage with vendor on missing file, wrong naming convention, data over thresholds, wrong address, or other types of data errors.

People Management : this position will have minimum one contractor reporting to it. Comfortable working with team in a dynamic setting is a must.
Bachelor's of Science relevant experience; procurement, contracts, finance.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Experience in secondary data (claims, pharmacy, EMR, labs, remittance) acquisition is preferred, but not required.
