Bristol Myers Squibb Logistics Coordinator in Princeton, New Jersey

This position requires working with our collaboration partners to identify sources and procure chemicals and lab supplies. This position requires knowledge of organic chemistry to identify possible synthetic routes to make some of the starting materials. This person coordinates shipping this material to our overseas partner. The candidate will also be responsible in generating the HTSC codes for complying with the DOT shipping procedures. The position also involves working with local procurement group as well as our partner sourcing / shipping team. Maintain sourcing budget and accurate records. Should be able to generate spending records on a timely basis.

The position requires a Master’s in organic chemistry with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an Organic chemistry related position. Should have working knowledge of HTSC codes. Should have excellent verbal and writing communication skills as well working in a matrix environment. The candidate should exercise sound judgment in making decisions/negotiations and recommendations within generally defined practices and policies. Identifies and evaluates opportunities for improvement in speed and efficiencies. Excellent collaboration skills with focus on timely delivery. Works with minimal supervision on the accomplishment of agreed-upon goals and objectives.
