Bristol Myers Squibb Lead, U.S Monitoring and Analytics, Compliance & Ethics in Princeton, New Jersey

  • Applying Data analytics techniques to proactively identify and quantify new and or emerging compliance trends and potential business risk

  • Development, implementation and execution of U.S Market forward-looking monitoring program, in coordination with U.S Compliance team and other stakeholders as appropriate

  • Establishing monitoring program to yield continuous flow of insights, which may serve as a basis for compliance education, communication, coaching, and business reporting.

  • Conducting monitoring activities on an ongoing basis as a process improvement effort, with cross business unit alignment and engagement

  • Collaborating with business partners and enabling functions to regularly communicate compliance metrics, guidance and monitoring results to senior management and other BMS internal stakeholders

  • Oversight of internal and external stakeholders and vendors to ensure accurate, consistent and timely completion of monitoring activities

  • Partner closely with BMS Global analytics COE and BI&A to identify and gather relevant analytics and deliver comprehensive report to business leaders

  • Risk assessment pull-through: Use monitoring outcomes to determine if mitigation steps are effectively implemented and impactful

  • Ensuring compliance monitoring incorporates a broad sampling of activities, with appropriate coverage across risk areas, business units and commercial products.

  • Closely follow external enforcement trends and benchmark activities as appropriate

  • Serve as Compliance Business partner to Innovative Medicines BU

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/Health Sciences compliance, law or a related discipline. Pharmaceutical business experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated expertise implementing and overseeing Compliance monitoring program

  • Proven ability using and applying data analytical techniques and tools (Tableau, Excel)

  • Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment and developing effective relationships with business and functional partners at all levels of the organization.

  • Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical Commercial operations, compliance, legal and regulatory environment (e.g., State Federal Open Payments/Transparency Reporting, FDCA, False Claims Act, anti-kickback, privacy) and the focus of current federal and state enforcement

  • Outstanding organizational, leadership and communication skills
