The II-ON full development research liaison facilitates the establishment of research collaborations that detail the mechanistic properties of BMS assets and/or enhance the fundamental understanding immuno-oncology (I-O) science
The research liaison leads project development and coordinates investigator activities across the network
The research liaison ensures adequate bilateral scientific communication between BMS internal working groups, BMS functional and tumor-focused teams, and academic & institutional site members of II-ON
With II-ON Core Team, lead II-ON investigator project strategy to ensure generation of high quality data and valuable impact on the I-O portfolio
Serve as interface between network sites and BMS that properly connects investigators and internal teams
Actively engage member sites to foster network collaboration and investigator project development/execution
Identify and prioritize project proposals for consideration by the Working Groups
Directly interface with BMS researchers, tumor leads, OAR stakeholders and functional groups to ensure II-ON related projects and activities remain complimentary and strategically aligned to I-O strategy (e.g. member of ISR review committees, TR&D teams/sub teams)
Exchange data and facilitate scientific discussions, externally and internally, to impact translational research decisions across I-O portfolio in all stages of development. Specifically, the research liaison plans and conducts data deep dives, investigator and BMS scientist working groups, congress investigator meetings, network site visits and yearly scientific symposiums
Prepare and lead investigator project publication plan in coordination with Pub leads
Responsible for providing project updates to oversight committee and senior management
Attend appropriate I-O symposia and conferences both to represent BMS and to further enhance knowledge of current developments in I-O science and medicine
PhD, MD, PharmD or equivalent in Oncology or Immunology-related field
5 or more years in pharmaceutical development
Experience working with thought leaders and leading scientific collaborations is essential
