Bristol Myers Squibb Head, Translational and clinical analytic enablement in Princeton, New Jersey
The Head, Translational and Clinical analytic enablement will be responsible for driving value and productivity for the translational and clinical via data sciences by:
Member of the Information and Data Management leadership team
Lead a team of data scientist and analytic enablement talent
Partner with analytic community in R&D and in Business Insights and Analytics to develop advanced analytics roadmap and data strategies
Oversee the efficacy of advanced analytics and statistics efforts including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing & Artificial Intelligence
Provide strategic recommendations on data collection, integration and retention requirements incorporating business requirements and knowledge of next generation data practices
Develop innovative approaches to linking internal systems with external data
Responsible for development of analytic problem solving methodology to be deployed enterprise wide
Responsible for ‘first of a kind’ research and develop innovative approaches to leveraging data
Responsible for talent development for data science practitioners
Defining a data strategy to make data available and accessible for scientific business intelligence
Define a roadmap of capabilities that will include analytical compute platform, statistical computing and visualization environment
Planning and execution of that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the data scientist community
7+ years experience in leveraging data in the translation and/or clinical domain to drive value from analytics and insights
10+ years experience in an information technology related field within the pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry
3+ years experience leading a data science team
5+ years experience in translational and/or clinical data domain with specific experience in data science and analytic automation
Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
- Prior experience in working in a matrixed organization construct involving scientific researchers, clinical operations, biostatisticians, analytics functions, IT delivery, and IT business partnering organizations
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
