Description

DIRECTOR WW ONCOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION NEKTAR will be responsible for enhancing the partnership between Commercial and R&D in support of development and commercialization strategies from a value perspective for NKTR-214 plus Opdivo combination. This position will report to the Head of NEKTAR.

Go-to-market (GTM): Messaging and supporting evidence for assigned new indications

Shape the product: Provide input into clinical development to ensure assigned indications/programs have commercially competitive clinical profiles in rapidly evolving precision medicine, competitive environment and standard of cares

Ensure appropriate value studies and access plans for the major markets

Collaborate closely with a cross-functional, cross tumor and cross geographic team on use, regulation, strategy for successful commercialization of BM strategy

Requirements

BS/BA or equivalent required; an MBA or other advanced degree preferred

10 + years of experience, with at least 6 years in marketing is sought

Considerable Biologics experience a strong plus, experience in Oncology and/or Immuno-Oncology required

Experience across one or more global markets strongly desired

Companion diagnostic experience is preferred

Proven track record demonstrating breadth and depth across marketing competencies, behaviors and exemplary achievement of performance objectives

Strong cross functional leadership skills to lead/contribute to the overall strategic planning, and execution of key deliverables

Experience in working with matrix team members, country partners, embracing teamwork and project management within a cross functional environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance are required

Demonstrated analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis, financial analysis and crystallization of key business insights

Up to 40% travel may be required, both US & international
