The BMS Cardiovascular Division is a leader within the pharmaceutical industry and we have training positions available during an exciting time in the company.
Associate Manager, Instructional Designer Cardiovascular Field Force Learning & Development is responsible for training Territory Business Managers to develop advanced disease state knowledge, deliver product messaging, while enhancing selling skills and territory management. The trainer will act as a liaison and will work closely with Sales, Marketing and various matrix teams to develop and deliver innovative, engaging learning initiatives that support the overall CV Strategic Plan for 2018 and beyond.
Lead the development and delivery of sales competencies that include disease state/clinical/product, business planning and selling skills training
Manage the training component for each POA meeting, including design, development of content, execution and evaluation.
Collaborate on key product launch initiatives with the internal team including Legal, Promotion Compliance, Medical, Marketing and Sales Management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the new hire training curriculum for the CV Retail and Institutional Sales Force.
Provide feedback and coaching to sales representatives during training sessions and field rides.
Develop continuous metrics to ensure that established training goals are achieved.
Some travel is required.
Minimum of four years of hospital sales experience with a strong sales and behavioral performance history.
Strong product and disease state knowledge in CV.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with matrix teams (Medical, Legal, Marketing, Promotional Compliance, Operations.)
Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and learning design.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and proven project management experience.
Effective facilitation and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point and Word.
