Bristol Myers Squibb Associate Manager, Cardiovascular Sales Training in Plainsboro, New Jersey

CV Sales Training is currently recruiting talented individuals who possess the skills needed to ensure both immediate and long-term success of the department. The primary job responsibility of the Associate Manager will be to develop and deliver training content for use during live training classes, virtual training classes, POA meetings, and to support continuous training throughout the year for the Field. The Associate Manager CV Sales Training position is an 18-24 month developmental role, which will allow the candidate to develop skills to help prepare for future opportunities within the organization.

The Associate Manager Cardiovascular Sales & Access Learning will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development and delivery of ongoing Track Training and Advanced Training.

  • Deliver virtual training via Adobe Connect to support new hire and continuous learning

  • Coordination across the region(s) with the National Sales Trainers, District Sales Trainer, and District Business Manager to ensure field training activities are aligned to overall strategy.

  • The key areas of focus will include Product & Disease State Knowledge, Selling Skills and Account Management.

  • Partnering with sales and marketing to assess, design and deliver training solutions to meet the objectives identified.

  • Supporting the PReP process within BMS to effectively manage the content approval process.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience required.

  • Cardiovascular sales or training experience is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated strong product & disease state knowledge, account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects, and vendors

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement key learning strategies and tactics.

  • Strong business analytics to understand and analyze business market drivers, develop, execute and adjust business plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with key matrix team members including Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, and Compliance.

  • Demonstrated track record of developing self & others to drive and enhance performance.

  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills, including previous experience leading POA or Foundational Training Workshops.

  • Ability to travel for Managers Meetings, POA’s and Training Initiatives
