Bristol Myers Squibb Sourcing & Operations Analyst in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Primary accountabilities of the role are:
Supports outsourcing decisions through the execution of confidentiality agreements, master service agreements and statements of works.
Supports DPST Leadership Team and Project Matrix Teams in answering key business questions using appropriate business tools & creating informative reports/visuals.
Helps implement new business processes that are used to support business strategy development, decision making and resource allocation.
Identifies new opportunities to further leverage data and visualization tools.
Background and requirements
BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics/Data Science, Math, Engineering
3+ years hands-on experience with data bases, modeling platforms, data manipulation software and visualization tools (e.g. Oracle, Access, SAP HANA, PL/SQL, R, Spotfire, Tableau)
Experience interacting with key business stakeholders by understanding, anticipating, and fulfilling their data/information requirements
Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities, other
Creative problem solving skills to help answer key business questions
Strong analytical skills with knowledge of data analysis & risk based decision analysis
Ability to analyze/mine large data sets and draw inferences, identify key findings and provide recommendations
Ability to create internal custom dashboards/reports
Familiarity with budget principals (budget development & management)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams across organizational lines and structures
Strong project management skills with ability to work on multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
