As an Assistant Research Scientist the selected candidate will facilitate analytical problem solving in the development of oral drug product programs and participate as a member of a multidisciplinary development team. This position requires significant collaborative interaction with other scientists in the drug product development process. The successful candidate will utilize various analytical techniques in problem solving and routine analysis of oral drug product formulations and must be able to effectively communicate with other team members. Analyze various oral drug product formulations using numerous analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, and dissolution.
Will analyze, review and document analytical data in compliance with regulatory and company SOP requirements.
Generate timely and concise documentation of scientific results and communicate with team members.
The qualified candidate will have the following:
BS degree in chemistry with some practical experience (0-2 years) in at least one core analytical technique such as HPLC, Dissolution or GC.
Knowledge or hands on experience in other analytical techniques such as Automation, IC, LC-MS or NIR is desirable.
Ability to execute, document and communicate scientific experiments and results is required.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and strong desire to grow scientifically.
The ability to collaborate and work with individuals and cross-functional teams.
