Bristol Myers Squibb Associate Director Analytics Oncology, Germany (m/w) in Munich, Germany


  • Responsible for using analytics and data strategy, as well as patient based forecasting to holistically answer key business questions for Oncology in Germany

  • Collaborates with the BI&A Lead Oncology Business Insights & Analytics, Germany and (international) peer counterparts as well as Commercial stakeholders to holistically answer key business questions

  • Designs and enhances analytics, performance management reporting, and forecasting for planned and ad-hoc needs for Germany Oncology brands

  • Maps out a strategy to close data gaps in the field of Oncology to drive understanding of performance dynamics

  • Applies global standards, models, and templates to drive high standards and consistency in analytics and forecasting

  • Synthesizes output across market research and analytics; presents results of strategic projects (i.e., Resource Allocation, Key Driver Analysis, In-Line Forecasts, Market Research studies) in a coherent, meaningful way

  • Liaises with Worldwide, other geographies and functional teams for efficient sharing and strategic adoption of learnings and capabilities

  • Leads the forecasting process as well as the annual market planning and budgeting process

  • Leads third party contractors

  • Responsible for all ZS consulting support – onshore and offshore


  • BA/BS, MBA, Masters or equivalent

  • Several years of pharmaceutical or related market experience, including working knowledge of various analytical and data strategy capabilities

  • Understanding of the German health care reimbursement system

  • Ability to leverage large, multi-dimensional data sets and qualitative and quantitative MR capabilities to drive decisions

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English with the ability to frame issues and present to business stakeholders

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare marketplace dynamics

  • Proficiency and familiarity with analytics or data tools such as, SAS, Access, Spotfire, Tableau, SQL, etc.
