Talented Healthcare Sales Professional

BMS is seeking an experienced healthcare sales professional to drive the promotion of the companies’ cardiovascular anticoagulant portfolio to General Practitioners in NSW. This role will cover a territory from Southern Sydney to Wollongong and to the NSW south coast.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement business plans for key accounts that promote the safe and effective use of the portfolio

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets on your allocated territory, demonstrating prioritised resource utilisation

  • Deliver brand strategy in field, through exceptional product/competitor product knowledge, adherence to sales strategy and key selling messages

  • Regularly review and report account and territory performance and market trends to help identify opportunities to shape future business plans

  • Tailor clinical information specific to assist the customers make informed clinical decisions and treat their patients appropriately

  • Consistently utilizes available promotional materials, sales resources & technologies.

  • Foster excellent external and internal stakeholder relationship and participate in enterprise initiative to drive better outcomes for customers and patients

  • Ensure business objectives and practices are fully compliant with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics.

  • Complete administration and work within a set promotional budget, with accuracy and in a timely manner

Essential Experiences, Skills & Qualifications:

Prior healthcare sales experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices or consumer medicines is essential. In addition, you will bring the following to this role:

  • Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Science, Nursing, Business or a related discipline

  • Track record of fostering strong customer relationships based on trust and authenticity

  • Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data to drive territory business planning

  • Awareness of the factors and needs that drive HCP decision making

  • Ability to absorb and communicate scientific / clinical information

  • Motivation to work in a dynamic team environment and be self-managed

  • Ethical awareness and ability to navigate ethical issues with integrity

  • Motivation to succeed in a goal oriented environment against performance metrics

  • Excellent time management, organisational, administrative skills

  • Willingness to travel
