BMS Norway is expanding and is looking for a strong marketer. The main objective for the Brand Lead we are looking for, is to successfully lead and execute the marketing strategy and launch planning for future IO indications in Norway. The position will also play a key role in contributing to create strong Market dynamics in the Nordic Region through appropriate cross-collaboration.
Key responsibilities and expected areas of Competences (i.e. skills and abilities):
Develops and communicates a compelling vision for the Norwegian brand team that is aligned with the overall WW strategy and driven by a strong personal vision (ideas, values and energy) to motivate the local team.
Effectively leads the local commercialization of the IO product portfolio in Norway, setting priorities and allocating resources optimally to maximize sales, market share and DPE objectives.
Optimizes the local performance for the business unit through superior implementation and execution of Marketing Excellence programs as well as defining and executing a strong marketing mix.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with various functions in the local Norwegian team and links into the WW team, so as to capitalize on opportunities.
Focuses on customer needs, analyzes market trends, understands how they affect the current and future business, and responds proactively to secure long-term business performance.
Creates enthusiasm and commitment within the team.
Takes personal accountability for achieving success of the business objectives including areas of decision making which involves risk.
Actively participates in working out the annual budget and strategic planning, leading the local brand planning process. Contributes to the strategic management of the region operation through effective participation with peers.
Understanding of core marketing principles and BMS compliance process.
Understanding of products, diseases, and competitors across the full range of therapeutic category.
In-depth knowledge of each of the Norwegian pharmaceutical market, health care environment and industry peers.
Mastery of effective communication skills to impact and influence people.
An understanding of BMS corporate expectations and operating culture.
Previous experience and knowledge:
Clear understanding and experience of pharmaceutical business, sales and marketing fundamentals.
Demonstrated experience with successful implementation of tactical plans and achievement of stretch objectives
Experience or demonstrable knowledge about the Norwegian Pharmaceautical market and relevant experience within lung cancer
Ideally 3-5 years as Product Manager within Oncology
Comprehensive computer skills including; ETMS, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong in BMS Biopharma Behaviors.
Knowledge of the business drivers within the Pharmaceutical Industry
