Position: Field Sales Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of highly motivated sales professionals by creating and articulating a vision for the district that builds off of the objectives and vision for the organization as a whole.

  • Effectively analyzes performance data, market trends, market access dynamics, and builds strategic business plans to address challenges and capitalize on business opportunities.

  • Demonstrates clear and thorough understanding of Company products, Immunology marketplace, relevant competitive products and the disease area. Leverages this knowledge to model and coach team to exemplary selling skills and product and disease state knowledge.

  • Actively facilitates the growth and development of team members based on their needs, motivation and business requirements.

  • Creates an environment of continuous learning where team members feel challenged and engaged.

  • Must be able to effectively lead a group through change while maintaining focus on current and future business needs.

  • Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of the Company

  • Demonstrates capacity to understand and learn scientific information quickly and continuously through self-learning of published data in scientific literature, through attendance of symposia and congresses and the internet.

  • Balances multiplicity of demands on role (e.g. market expansion and market share, prescriber and payers/purchasers, manager and Country structure etc.).

  • Understands and acts in accordance with all applicable laws, local compliance rules and Company policy when promoting Company products.

  • Develops strong relationships and networks within the country business managers and support functions

  • Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Key Requirements:

  • Pharmacist. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or other related industry experience.

  • Prior experience as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales, or equivalent experience in leading and managing high performing teams is required

  • Immunology experience is strongly preferred,

  • Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet or exceed expectations and goals.

  • Proven successful track record of selecting, developing and retaining talented individuals.

  • Proven experience of working with experts (KOL) in their field.

  • Demonstrated track records of regularly meeting assigned objectives (100% Sales achievement for two consecutive years & FP on behaviors for two consecutive years).

  • Demonstrated experience in formulary enlisting.

  • Very good knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting processes. Resources allocation expertise working with multiple customer segments.

  • Understanding of the complexities of interacting with high value and influencing customers

  • Knowledge of the business drivers within the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency of English Language.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Internet and e-mail
