Healthcare Access Manager (Iasi based)

Key responsibilities:

  • Profile and segment payer customers in order to define target customers and tailor approaches.

  • Build payer value propositions and materials that address the behavioral objectives, drivers and barriers of each customer group.

  • Manage national, regional and local payers to ensure funding availability and favorable formulary/guideline status. Build the relationships with all health decision makers.

  • Detailed analysis of the organizational structure and the decision making process of mechanism of the hospital contracts, financial resources, cash flow in the CHIH and hospitals Liaison with Health County authority in regards to public health issues, improve relevant disease awareness by sharing and making available professional information about Company products, like medical, marketing and pharmacoeconomic data.

  • Improving the market access of BMS products by:

  • advocate to increase of financial resources for the therapeutic programs

  • searching for alternative sources of financing

  • epidemiological analysis by therapeutic fields, cost effectiveness and cost utility studies, budget impact analysis and pricing analysis.

  • Liaison with NHIH, regional CHIH and Hospital Departments to ensure the Market Access of innovative therapies and to improve the cooperation between them. Liaison between Patient Association and CHIH and hospitals medical committees. Coordinate the execution of the MA strategy and support launch effectiveness within their designated disease area .

  • Ensure integration and dissemination of refined access value pack based on stakeholder feedback. Identify additional opportunities to enhance and build contingencies to defend MA assets.

  • Continue to optimize locally WW market access strategies.

  • Continue to provide input to update local and regional functions as needed. Budget and resource allocation management for market access projects.

Key Requirements:

  • University graduate

  • Experience in the business negotiations and group presentations.

  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry/NHIH/CHIH

  • Able to demonstrate strong capabilities to work in a complex matrix structure with different function and brands

  • Established relationships with key decision makers in the regional hospitals and NHIH/CHIH

  • Experience in effectively and persuasively articulating complex issues to key decision makers

  • Demonstrated ability to work across diverse cultural, social, political boundaries

  • Understanding of the current stage with insight into future trends for the industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Understanding the legislation applicable to reimbursement and HEOR

  • Understanding of the current healthcare system in Romania including market access from NHIH down to the 41 CHIH, down to the hospital

  • Understanding ofCompany products and its priority business objectives

  • Mastery of verbal and written communication skills

  • PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)

  • Romanian and English language knowledge (spoken and written fluency)

  • Clean driving license (B category)

  • Works well in teams, is able to work with a wide variety of people
