Product Manager Oncology
Accountable for the marketing of Company Oncology/Hematology brands across the Gulf markets.
Develops and implements innovative marketing strategies and tactics, ensuring completion on a timely basis and within agreed budgets.
Analyzes and translates trends, threats and opportunities in the market place in terms of long-term business implications.
Develops / champions annual brand planning to optimize sales, market shares and profit margin while demonstrating superior forecasting analysis and control of brands expenditures.
Interacts and builds strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside of BMS and external.
Initiates, builds and maintains strong relationships with key Thought Leaders and others within the medical community.
Works with access to ensure favorable pricing and reimbursement situations at all times.
Works with medical to understand Life Cycle Planning and deliver specific actions/programs as required.
Aligns with WW brand teams on strategy, sharing and gaining relevant information as necessary.
Trains and develops sales force on product/competitor knowledge and promotional messages to the customers. Works to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, adhering to Company Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.
At least 2 years of Marketing experience with a Multinational Pharmaceutical Company.
Ability to develop, implement and execute innovative (strategic and tactical) marketing plans.
Digital Marketing experience
Experience of working with/ leading programs for Thought Leaders and experts in their field.
Knowledge of Oncology/Hematology disease area.
Gulf market experience.
Broad and in-depth understanding of local and regional issues relative to the pharmaceutical industry
Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to create energy and excitement.
Strong project management, analytical and forecasting skills
Ability to work within and lead cross-functional teams, effectively communicating and influencing decisions with senior management.
Demonstrates capacity to acquire scientific information. Proven history of seeking out new information and learning quickly agility to absorb new concepts, analyze data and ask insightful questions.
Ability to “flex” across different types of cultures, complexities, business situations and matrix partners.
Very good working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with the use and application of e-detailing tools & reporting.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a Pharmaceutical / Medical field.
Business School degree or MBA preferred.
Workstyle and Travel:
30-35%% of time in the field
