Bristol-Myers Squibb has built a new state-of-the-art Multi-Product Cell Culture biologics manufacturing facility in Cruiserath, Dublin 15, approximately a $1 billion investment. Once commissioned, the new facility will significantly increase Bristol-Myers Squibb’s biologics manufacturing capacity and play a central role in its global manufacturing network.BMS Cruiserath Biologics is seeking to recruit a permanent Analytical Science & Technology Scientist to be part of a team of Scientists to enable our global biologics analytical network with reliability, integrity, active engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.A typical day might include the following:
Providing technical execution of analytical methods and data troubleshooting, remediation, and optimization.
Providing analytical support for process characterisation of next generation processes
Partner with QC to assist in troubleshooting technical issues that may arise
Develop and qualify new analytical test methods to support new / existing products
Conduct periodic review of method performance and work with team leader to design and execute remediation experiments and implement changes to existing commercial methods.
Working collaboratively across organization and sites for method readiness, transfer, performance and trouble shooting in commercial environment.
This job might be for you if:
You hold a PhD, MSc. or BSc in biological sciences, chemistry or related scientific disciplines and you have relevant experience in bio-therapeutic development and industry experience.
You have demonstrated experience with analytical methods in late stage/commercial biologics process development and/or manufacturing environment.
You have strong understanding and experience in assays used to test and characterize biological products (e.g. HPLC, gel and capillary electrophoresis, spectrometry (absorption, MS, etc), ELISAs, etc).
You have experience in methods qualification and/or validation with extensive familiarity with regulatory guidelines and cGMP laboratory processes.
