The Global Capabilities Hub (GCH), based in Switzerland in the Zug area, was created to combine global capabilities of key operational and functional areas across the R&D, Global Manufacturing Services and Commercial Operations value chain to support and optimize established products.
Financial Accountant/Corporate Governance Administrator, reporting to the Accounting Manager GCH, is responsible for the day to day financial operations of certain BMS Subsidiaries based in Switzerland
Propose and Post Journal entries, generate recurring journals and management of Balance Sheet reconciliations
Main contact for transactions actions to be completed daily, month-, quarter- and year-end closing activities
Preparation of Funds Flows/Cash Management transactions
Supports the Associate Director and Accounting Manager for providing information related to on-going projects in the finance department
Preparation of Budgets and Projections
Assisting in Statutory Accounting and Audit Preparation
Assisting in preparation of tax calculations and tax
Assisting in coordination of the corporate governance tasks
Basic financial skills and general understanding of accounting and financial principles
Understanding of the accounting and financial reporting processes
Understanding of processes and training for process improvement would be advantage
Team oriented and confident
Ability to contribute to the creation of a high performance culture through effective communication with all stakeholders (internal and external)
Flexible, open-minded and adaptable to changing customer needs and requests
Competence in using a variety of applicable software packages to perform business tasks
Fluent in spoken and written English and German
