This role is the key business partner finance contact for the Corporate Finance functions, Corporate Strategy (CS) and Business Development (BD) organizations and provides significant support to the Global Procurement (GP) organization. Position is accountable for a budgets totaling approximately $250M. This position is located in the North America Capabilities Center (NACC) in Tampa and is charged with providing global financial, accounting and key decision support to the above listed functions.

Business Partnering

  • Meet with business partners to plan, prepare and analyze global operating budgets

  • Supports manager in providing ongoing financial support to coordinate, develop and present the annual business plan and periodic financial projections to operational business partners

  • Participates in monthly and quarterly financial close process, including the development and issuance of reports and analyses focusing on comparison of results to budget, prior projection and prior year with investigation and in-depth understanding of key variances; meets regularly with business partners to review results (i.e., presentations/direct conversations with Senior Management)

  • Working with manager and operational leads, provides decision support analysis to reach key resource allocation decisions and drive continuous improvement

  • Performs adhoc analysis for various projects

  • Provides financial stewardship to clients on financial and/or accounting matters, partering with Technical Accounting, Business Controls, etc.

Drives Process Improvements

  • Helps drive further standardization and optimization of common processes across team

  • Works with Manager, IT, GP & Finance - Corporate Staff to evaluate, optimize, and execute tasks/processes that will improve/increase the business partnering/FP&A responsibilities provided by the group to the Corporate Staff functions.

Financial Stewardship

  • Provides financial stewardship to clients on financial and/or accounting matters, partnering with Technical Accounting, Business Controls, etc.

  • Maintains internal control environment to the highest standards of compliance and integrity

  • Supports Manager, IT, GP & Finance for external and internal audits, as needed



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5 years diversified experience in accounting or finance

  • Experience with development of annual business plan, financial projections and operations expense management preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger and budgeting systems required - the SAP suite (including SAP BI/BW; RPM) and Hyperion are strongly preferred

  • Very high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong financial and analytical skills required

  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills

  • Must be team oriented and have ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment working with multiple levels of management

  • Successful candidate must be a demonstrated, strong self-starter, have the ability to manage multiple tasks and be able to work with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and requests
