This position supports the Clinical Partner Management organization within CCP&S and reports to the FSP Project Manager. The Associate FSP Manager drives Functional Service Provider (FSP) outsourcing activities by using data analysis to support and provide guidance to the FSP Project Manager, functional leaders, operational teams and service providers. Data analytics will ensure successful contracting and execution of such services, while ensuring compliance with legal/human resource/regulatory standards, ethical practices, BMS outsourcing, and procurement policies and procedures.
Manage the contracts, analytics and change management process for FSP services with the global preferred FSP partners, using relevant outsourcing/procurement processes and tools
Review services per business unit and region/country to support internal ongoing FSP model implementation
Manage the FSP service forecasting budget & cost estimate tool (by business unit, region and country), and share on a monthly basis with key stakeholders
Ensure a high level of FSP data quality at all times to ensure consistency for internal metrics and reporting
Review and validate FSP Global invoices (by business unit, region and country), on a monthly basis for each FSP partner and put controls in place to ensure compliance.
Review and manage FSP KPIs related to performance per service type (by business unit, and global / region / country levels), working closely with FSP partners and stakeholders.
Build FSP dashboards with focus on finance and operational metrics that can help assess productivity
Ensure FSP Ops Manual, Quality Agreement and supportive documentation is being kept up to date at all times
Leverage SharePoint tool to ensure information exchange with stakeholders
Support governance framework and infrastructure improvements with FSP Partners
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Legal, Life science, Business Administration or equivalent.
Three years or more of Clinical development experience or related field (scientific, contract and project management experience, financial / accounting)
Experience interacting with Contract Service Providers (CSPs) or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
Analytical skills for resource management, expenditure analysis, innovation, problem solving
Ability to synthesize information and present/summarize conclusions and recommendations
Understanding of regulations as they apply to the scope of FSP / BPO outsourcing
Excellent project management, customer service, and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
Experience working in a matrix team environment; navigating and networking with individuals across departments and geographies
Excellent oral and written communication skills and diplomacy to convey information and influence others with a strong customer focus
Strong computer skills, demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite
Experience in managing and enhancing outsourcing models
Experience in Vendor management
Experience in Advanced Project Management
Experience in creating and influencing change across various functional areas cultures within the organization
Develop a broader understanding of the corporation and the business
